Wills Wing Dealership Requirements/Guidelines

Wills Wing has three classes of hang glider dealerships:

1) HANG GLIDERS, PARTS, and ACCESSORIES.
2) PARTS, and ACCESSORIES.
3) ACCESSORIES only.

We would like to take this opportunity to give you some insight into our views on manufacturer / dealer / customer relations.  We feel the most important role of the dealer is to service the retail customer.  It is primarily on that basis that we grant dealerships and corresponding discounts.

The responsibilities of a Wills Wing HANG GLIDER DEALER include:

A) Offering instruction in the proper use of hang gliding equipment.
B) Being familiar with all relevant information in the dealer note book and parts price list.
C) Assembling, test flying, and signing off each hang glider before delivering it to the customer.
D) Assembling, testing, and or adjusting each accessory item before delivering it to the customer.
E) Review and completion of all items on the dealer glider delivery check list prior to delivering the hang glider to the customer.
F) Withholding delivery of any item that the customer is not qualified to use.  As an example we do not want dealers to deliver a glider to a pilot that does not possess the skills to fly it safely.
G) Returning completed dealer hang glider delivery check lists to Wills Wing.
H) Maintaining a stock of service parts.
I) Complying with the area, shipping, and terms policies.
J) Having all business licenses necessary in accordance with the local laws in the area in addition to carrying a business listing in the local phone book.
K) Completing all questionnaires and surveys sent by Wills Wing.
L) We also encourage the support the United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association.

AREA

We determine dealer density on a case by case basis, based on how we feel we can best service our customers, support the dealer with an adequate existing or potential market of customers, and secure adequate market representation for our products.
Because dealers have an obligation to service our mutual customers, they must contact us prior to making or soliciting any sales outside of their immediate area.  Wills Wing dealerships are not transferable to another location, nor are they transferable to another person.

SHIPPING

Due to our delivery policies we will not drop ship equipment to customers, nor do we want dealers to.  This is to effect better, safer service for the retail customer as detailed on page one.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel dealership agreements at any time without advance notice at our discretion.
